A LETTER FROM THE CEO

Our Story

Mazi’s story began like most others as a dream. I sought to reform mobility in Africa from the ground up. To be very honest with you, this has been something I have wished to do for a decade. One of my childhood heroes, John Michuki managed to get matatus to adhere to the 14 passenger capacity rule in a time when they would carry in passengers in excess of 20. The late former minister did what at the time was thought impossible. The imprint he left on me slowly grew into the culmination of what is now Mazi Mobility – a boy’s dream to make mobility fast, efficient, clean and affordable for all.

Since day-1, we have been impressed by Jesse’s vision and execution capability.
